Craft o rama.

This time it took me a longer time to come up with a craft for the kiddies. I will post pictures with what I came up with BECAUSE NOW I HAVE A CAMERA!
This is very exciting news for me. I have been snappin' a lot. Maybe that's whay I haven't written in a while. Been busy with Swaps (also got banned from one but she was such a B***-what's wrong with people?) Anyway got lots to do and lots of pics to take and post.

Back in the saddle again

I don't know why I spend so much time away from this blog. Um, things happening: I joined the MLB fan club. (Maybe I've been so depressed because baseball season takes so long to get here!) So here are some pics to show you what I've been waiting for.

Wow, where have I been that I did not know about this? I started a series today, I will call it Sister Daffodils because it is for my dear sister who's birthday month flower is daffodils. I already love it, and keeping up with the ideas in my head is a challenge. I have post-its filled with series titles and individual. Thinking about my personal tag on the back. This is huge. Also done some Swaps. Unfortunately, I haven't received anything from my assigned partners, so that sucks. I don't know if I will continue to swap if this keeps up. I mean, I'm new and I sent everything. So what gives?
Pinterest has got me! I am HOOKED!!!
If I don't post again soon, you know where I am.

I Write

I love getting mail, don't you. It is Day 1  of the 29 Letters of February. Today  I sent a belated birthday card to my brother who does not speak to me. But it's all right. I always think this will be the one time  that changes things. Even if it doesn't,  I'm okay with that. He has his reasons and I am patient.
Day 2 is a thank you note to a lovely friend who brought back a bag of coffee from Costa Rica. She does not drink it, so it came to me. What's a little handwritten note between friends.

I already have plans for the next several days. I am letter prolific, it seems. Maybe, one day, there will be a letter to you!

For the Kids

It started with a heart, cut from pegboard. Free! and then I added foam (FREE!) to the bottom and glued, added ribbon ($1.00) and printed out the Lollipop Lily's from Skip To My Lou and there you have it. A fabulous lollipop display for the Kid's Workshop. I will continue to replenish as the loolipops get taken, but so excited to share this. Saturday's the big day. Lots of fun!

 

I Did It!

New background. !!! I don'tknow what I did, just playing around and this came up. Wow so much better than the other though. Ahhhhh. Pinterest, facebook, backgrounds, who knows what's next, O I got it. Typing with a cat on my shoulder. Ha

Month of Letters Challenge

Again, I followed directions and tried to change my background, but it never changes on the screen. I don't know what else to do but stick with this or just start all over.
Anyway, Feb 1 starts a Month of Letters Challenge and I am all for it! I will mail my first one Wednesday, maybe a postcard, although I have a ton of correspondence to catch up on. Write me back-we'll be pen pals, dude for sure!
